How one agent used Paradym to sell a $1.2M home in record time

Meet Beale Cummings
In the early 70’s, Beale Cummings got his start in real estate in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. He’s currently a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners in Beaufort, S.C., and with over 44 years of industry experience, it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about the business. Recently, Cummings shared an incredible story with us about how Paradym helped him sell a $1.2M home fast.
From posting to showing in less than 24 hours
Letting the home speak for itself, Cummings’ first step was to get photos of the property (200 to be exact!). He then used Paradym to “put [his] tour of this oceanfront home together on a Sunday afternoon and fine tuned it for another couple of hours.” Paradym streamlines social sharing, so when Cummings was prompted to share his story to Facebook, it was easy. “Sure,” Cummings responded, and his story was off and running.
That’s when things got interesting. Cummings was contacted by another agent who “had been showing similar homes all weekend” and “saw [his] Facebook post and knew it was the right home for her clients.” The other agent called Cummings “20 minutes later at 7:15 p.m. and asked to show the home at 10:30 a.m. the next day.”
The asking price for the home was $1,250,000, and Cummings received 3 offers. He ended up selling with a “cash buyer who bought the home that day” for 97% of the asking price.
“No home over one million had sold in the past two years on this vacation island in Beaufort, S.C. 14 of the then 16 homes for sale over a million are still for sale. My tour online got the attention. Otherwise that buyer would have bought some other home,” Cummings says.

“After 44 years, I take on all the new marketing I am comfortable with and leave 80% out there. No way to do it all. When I see something new and I feel it, I take it on and usually drop the lowest producing venue.”
