Thanksgiving may be over, but it’s never out of season to show your gratitude for your social media followers. Your followers play a large role in determining the success of your social media endeavors. So it’s important to thank them, and show them you care.

Not only will your thanks make your users feel valued, thanking your users and followers is a great way to building relationships and increase the likelihood that they will do business with you again. A small gesture can go a long way.

Ways to Show Thanks

There’s no shortage of ways to show your gratitude online. Below are a few examples to show your users that you appreciate them:

Share their Content

Follow the Golden Rule––treat others as you would like to be treated. You want others to share your content, so show your appreciation by sharing the content of your followers.

Also, look for any opportunity to celebrate the work of your followers. If you notice one of your followers has just received a new job or recently married, be sure to congratulate them.

Mention Them   

You don’t have to make a grand gesture to show your users you appreciate them. Something as small as mentioning a user in a post can go a long way.

Don’t just mention you users, occasionally feature them. Share images of your users along with a message telling them how much you appreciate them.
